Founded in the spring of 2023, Fetherstill Inc. is an innovative company focused on the design and development of battery energy technologies that power the future. Our vision is to become a major battery service and product development leader in North America for cells of any chemistry and form factor, delivering cutting-edge solutions for industries ranging from the smallest applications—such as drones and robotics—to the largest, including energy storage and electric mobility.

At the heart of our expertise lies our ability to create customized battery packsAI enabled battery management systems, and thermal management solutions, tailored to meet the needs of diverse products operating in the most extreme and fluctuating temperature conditions. Our work is driven by a commitment to developing high-performance, reliable energy solutions that support the growing demands of the modern world.

Our journey has been supported by the vibrant Windsor-Essex ecosystem, with key collaborations through organizations like WEtech AllianceInvest WindsorEssex, and our development partner, St. Clair College. Our initial funding from FedDev Ontario enabled us to develop early prototypes, which were brought to life in a small, collaborative space at the Truck and Coach building at St. Clair College. A talented team of students from the college played a crucial role in helping us transform our ideas into tangible solutions.

Our first product to market developed through the FedDev Funding in collaboration with St Clair College, is a high-power battery module, POWERBOOST 1 with a maximum power output of 1.85 kWh, designed to operate in any environment, whether indoors or outdoors and can withstand extreme temperatures. It incorporates Fetherstill’s unique scalable and flexible design with active cooling technology and a fully compact HVAC system. This product is ideal for robotics and drone applications.
